The Greater Manchester Clean Air Zone is expected to launch mid-2022.

The aim of The Zone is to reduce harmful air pollution on local roads and to make Manchester safer for everyone. HGVs that do not meet emissions standards will be charged to drive in the Clean Air Zone.

Clean Air Greater Manchester 4 Government funding is available to help eligible Greater Manchester people, businesses and organisations move to cleaner, compliant vehicles and not have to pay a daily charge.
